At Private Health, we tailor the care plan to you, your needs, your routines, and the surroundings you know and feel comfortable in. A dedicated team of licensed nurses provides your care, so you’re always greeted by the same familiar faces who are familiar with your specific situation.
The care process can include everything from personal care, monitoring, and medication management to pain relief, nutrition, and assistance with daily activities. Who might need 24-hour care?
There may be several reasons why a 24-hour care program becomes necessary. Typically, we offer 24-hour care to people in one of the following situations:
- Terminally ill patients— we provide continuous pain relief, support, and professional care to clients who are seriously or terminally ill.
- People with dementia – our nurses provide care and support, help with daily routines, assist with practical tasks around the home, and take them on daily outings.
- Seniors with increased care needs – we provide professional nursing services, including daily care, medication management, wound care, rehabilitation, and much more.
Other individuals who need 24-hour care at home may include people with chronic illnesses or complex health challenges, people with temporary health problems, and people with acute illnesses who wish to remain in familiar and safe surroundings.

We take care of everything from medication management, pain relief, and personal care to companionship, social interaction, and support with everyday activities—around the clock.
Aesthetics and Atmosphere as Part of 24-Hour Care
At Private Health, we focus on creating environments and atmospheres tailored to our clients. We do this because we believe we can set the right mood through the sounds, scents, and colors that we believe influence a person’s well-being.
In this way, we strive to lay the foundation for feelings such as well-being and balance.
Some clients are so ill that they depend on others to create this comfortable, calm, and healing atmosphere around them.

Support in Everyday Life
As you get older, you may need help with everyday tasks—both practical chores and general support. Our nurses can assist with personal care, medication management, and other practical assistance.
Our nurses also provide social support and take the time to understand your living situation. We strive to create a sense of security in your daily life and to make you feel heard and seen.
We can also assist you with doctor’s appointments and hospital visits, and we can provide support during social activities such as museum visits or other events. If you’d like to travel and need assistance, we also offer travel companionship, where we’ll help you to the extent you’d like.

Prices for Private 24-Hour Home Care
Nurses
- Weekday daily rate (8:00 a.m. to midnight): DKK 675 per hour
- Weekday nighttime rate (12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.): 745 DKK per hour
- Weekend daytime rate (8:00 a.m. to midnight): DKK 795 per hour*
- Weekend nighttime rate (12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.): DKK 895 per hour*
- Holiday Rate (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.): DKK 1,150 per hour**
- Holiday rate on December 24 (from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day): 1,350 / hour**
- Holiday Rate on 12/31 (from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day): 1,350 / hour**
- The minimum shift length for nurses is 3 hours during the day and 8 hours at night (midnight–8 a.m.).
*The weekend rate applies from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m.
**The holiday rate applies from 12:00 a.m. on the holiday until 8:00 a.m. on the following business day**
The holidays are as follows:
- New Year's Day (January 1)
- Maundy Thursday
- Good Friday
- Easter Sunday
- Easter Monday
- Ascension Day, Pentecost
- 2. Pentecost
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Eve (December 31).
Contributions from insurance and pension companies
We encourage clients, in special cases, to explore the possibility of receiving financial assistance from Sygesikring Danmark, insurance and pension companies, or other related health insurance providers.
In this regard, Private Health would like to note that Sygesikring Danmark provides a payment of approximately 12,000 DKK in cases of end-of-life care. To receive this benefit, various medical certificates from a doctor or hospital must be obtained. Private Health is happy to assist in obtaining these. In all cases, we recommend that clients and/or their relatives contact the relevant organizations directly for further information.
