As a new surgical patient, you will often be discharged 1–2 days after your surgery with a rehabilitation plan and an offer of municipal rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation is essential for restoring your body’s function and strength after surgery.
Without proper rehabilitation, the healing process may be delayed, and the risk of complications may increase.

Step 4 in the post-surgery rehabilitation process
When you choose Private Health for your post-surgery rehabilitation, you can expect a thorough and personalized approach.
As a new surgical patient, you will often be discharged 1–2 days after your surgery with a rehabilitation plan, as well as an offer of municipal rehabilitation services. Our dedicated physical therapists will visit you on the same day you are discharged, and together you will review the rehabilitation plan you have already received and/or develop a new one.
1. Evaluation and Assessment of the Client’s Needs: As a post-operative patient, you will often be discharged 1–2 days after your surgery with a rehabilitation plan, as well as an offer of municipal rehabilitation services. Our dedicated physical therapists will visit you the same day you are discharged, and together you will review the rehabilitation plan you have already received and/or develop a new one.
2. Developing a personalized training plan: Based on our assessment, we’ll create a training plan tailored specifically to meet your needs.
3. Regular exercise sessions with professional nurses: Once the exercise plan is in place, our dedicated nurses will work closely with you in your familiar and comfortable surroundings. Many clients need help with daily exercises during the first few weeks, and your personal nurse will assist you in performing the exercises, often several times a day.
4. Ongoing monitoring and adjustment of the training plan: Rehabilitation is a dynamic process, and your needs may change over time. That’s why we’ll continuously monitor your progress and adjust the training plan as needed, so you always receive the best care and support.

Prices for Private Post-Surgery Rehabilitation

- Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.: DKK 850 / 45 min (first visit: DKK 1,250 / 75 min).
Contributions from insurance and pension companies
We encourage clients, in special cases, to explore the possibility of receiving financial assistance from Sygesikring Danmark, insurance and pension companies, or other related health insurance providers.
In this regard, Private Health would like to note that Sygesikring Danmark provides a payment of approximately 12,000 DKK in cases of end-of-life care. To receive this benefit, various medical certificates from a doctor or hospital must be obtained. Private Health is happy to assist in obtaining these. In all cases, we recommend that clients and/or their relatives contact the relevant organizations directly for further information.
