Private Health is happy to help you make these dreams a reality, and will therefore work with you to create a personalized plan that meets your needs and wishes.
Whether you need a travel companion, are scheduled to receive treatment abroad, or would like to undergo rehabilitation in a warm and cozy location in the south, Private Health can also assist you with all the practical arrangements for a stay of this nature.

Treatment/Recreation Abroad
Whether you need a travel companion, are traveling abroad for medical treatment, and/or are going on a recreational trip, Private Health can also assist you with all the practical arrangements for a stay of this nature.
Among other things, Private Health can assist with:
- Book Flights
- Find a suitable hotel, residence, or sanatorium
- Transportation to/from the airport
- Check-in, assistance on the plane, and to the destination
- Booking a private jet, commercial flight, or other mode of transportation
- Accompaniment during part or all of your stay abroad
- Pickup and travel assistance back to Denmark

Rates for Nursing Travel Companions
Nurses
- Weekday daily rate (8:00 a.m. to midnight): DKK 675 per hour
- Weekday nighttime rate (12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.): 745 DKK per hour
- Weekend daytime rate (8:00 a.m. to midnight): DKK 795 per hour*
- Weekend nighttime rate (12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.): DKK 895 per hour*
- Holiday Rate (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.): DKK 1,150 per hour**
- Holiday rate on December 24 (from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day): 1,350 / hour**
- Holiday Rate on 12/31 (from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day): 1,350 / hour**
- The minimum shift length for nurses is 3 hours during the day and 8 hours at night (midnight–8 a.m.).
*The weekend rate applies from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m.
**The holiday rate applies from 12:00 a.m. on the holiday until 8:00 a.m. on the following business day**
The holidays are as follows:
- New Year's Day (January 1)
- Maundy Thursday
- Good Friday
- Easter Sunday
- Easter Monday
- Ascension Day, Pentecost
- 2. Pentecost
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Eve (December 31).
Contributions from insurance and pension companies
We encourage clients, in special cases, to explore the possibility of receiving financial assistance from Sygesikring Danmark, insurance and pension companies, or other related health insurance providers.
In this regard, Private Health would like to note that Sygesikring Danmark provides a payment of approximately 12,000 DKK in cases of end-of-life care. To receive this benefit, various medical certificates from a doctor or hospital must be obtained. Private Health is happy to assist in obtaining these. In all cases, we recommend that clients and/or their relatives contact the relevant organizations directly for further information.
